Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release an Ultimate Collector's Edition Blu-ray of Brad Bird's The Iron Giant. The release will be available for purchase on September 6.

After some confusion regarding the legal situation of last years DVD-release of 'Fright Night Part 2' by '84 Entertainment they announced a few days ago that the legal situation has been resolved and a Blu-Ray-Release will follow.

After submission of the legal chain Paramount LA has provided us with their original HD-Master. Therefore we can look forward to a perfect german Blu-Ray-Release of 'Fright Night Part 2'.

According to their announcement the HD-Master has been provided by Paramount US.

StudioCanal have detailed their upcoming 30th Anniversary Blu-ray Edition of director Russell Mulcahy's classic film Highlander (1986), starring Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, Roxanne Hart, Clancy Brown, and James Cosmo. The release will be available for purchase on June 13.


Synopsis:

"Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) is a Scotsman from the Middle Ages who discovers that he cannot be killed in battle. Cast out by his clan, who believe him to be a witch, he is befriended by another Immortal, Ramirez (Sean Connery), who teaches him of the Gathering, a magical event which can be experienced by one of their kind when all the others are slain. Immortals can only be killed by being beheaded, and in the Twentieth century McCloud has only one Immortal left to face in battle – the evil Kurgan."
