"We are thrilled to announce that our next Italian title will be the worldwide BluRay debut of the notorious video nasty SS EXPERIMENT CAMP."

"What was in the air in Italy that made seventies shock filmmakers exploit the country's very recent relationship with the horrors of fascism? Who knows! But it did leave us with some of the most insane examples of sleaze-celluloid ever produced. More farcical than fascist, though, SS EXPERIMENT CAMP is hard to take seriously and does at least one thing progressively – it makes us laugh at the very idea of a far right revival!"

"For those who want to see nasty Nazis via some postwar Italian guilt, SS EXPERIMENT CAMP is the splatter-fest for you!"

11188195_1075378152478793_13647106727341

"In the same satirical spirit as HOLLYWOOD CHAINSAW HOOKERS or STUDENT BODIES, comes 1991's unfairly obscure splatter send-up BLOODSUCKING PHARAOHS IN PITTSBURGH."

"Originally entitled PICKING UP THE PIECES, and featuring special effects from the great Tom Savini (MANIAC/ DAY OF THE DEAD), this first class mix of gore and guffaws makes its worldwide BluRay debut from 88 Films. Starring Veronica Hart, the erstwhile adult movie legend, as a weapon-wielding femme-fatale who is dedicated to lopping off limbs and chalking up a high body count in the name of an ancient religious cult, BLOODSUCKING PHARAOHS IN PITTSBURGH is one of the most deranged darkly humoured hack 'em ups that you have (probably) never seen."

"Proving that the female of the species is far deadlier than the male, this latest addition to 88 Films' influential Slasher Classics Collection is a true gem of slice and dice delirium waiting to be rediscovered..."

Nightmare City!

Release Date: 3rd August 2015

Region: ABC

Format: Dual Format Blu-ray + DVD

Starring: Hugo Stiglitz, Laura Trotter, Maria Rosaria Omaggio

Directed by: Umberto Lenzi

"NOW THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! THERE IS NO ESCAPE!"

"Long before zombies took up jogging in 28 Days Later and Zack Snyders Dawn of the Dead remake, they were brandishing axes and other sharp implements in Umberto Lenzis utterly insane radiation-sickness opus Nightmare City."

"In true Zombie Flesh Eaters form, our story begins with the arrival of an ominous, seemingly unmanned craft in this instance, a military plane making an unscheduled landing at a European airport. Upon forcing the aircraft doors open, the waiting soldiers get a nasty shock when out bursts a horde of flesh-hungry, pizza-faced radioactive ghouls. The walking dead are here, and theyre hungry!"

"Counting amongst its fans the likes of Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth, Nightmare City (aka City of the Walking Dead) is a bonkers slice of Italian zombie carnage from the man who shocked the world with the notorious Cannibal Ferox."

"Gather around the campfire, and hear the tale of Madman Marz: an ill-tempered old farmer who, one dark night, chopped up his wife and two children into pieces. When the locals caught wind of his heinous crime, they meted out revenge – sinking an axe into his head and hanging him from a nearby tree. But the next day, Marzs body was goneThus the camp counsellor finishes his tale, closing with the warning never to say Marzs name above a whisper, lest the hideously-deformed farmer comes looking for them Naturally, of course, the first thing that one of the young campers does is to call out Marzs name precipitating a terrifying night of murder, mayhem and sexy Jacuzzi vignettes!"

"The most famous film by Italian provocateur Marco Ferreri (Dillinger is Dead), La Grande bouffe was reviled on release for its perversity, decadence and attack on the bourgeoisie yet won the prestigious FIPRESCI prize after its controversial screening at the Cannes Film Festival."

"Four friends, played by international superstars Marcello Mastroianni (Fellinis 8½), Michel Piccoli (Belle de jour), Ugo Tognazzi (Barbarella) and Philippe Noiret (Zazie dans le métro) retreat to a country mansion where they determine to eat themselves to death whilst engaging in group sex with prostitutes and a local school teacher (Andréa Ferréol, The Tin Drum), who seems to be up for anythingAt once jovial and sinister, the films jet-black humour has a further twist as the reputed actors (whose characters use their own names) buck their respectable trend for a descent into fart-filled chaos that delivers a feast for the eyes and mind."

Nyt se sitten tapahtuu: Saksalainen Kosch Media julkaisee 15.6.

132235_front.jpg

132236_front.jpg
spaguman 23.5.2015 22:21

Onkohan tuo Pray For Death uncut-versio millainen?

Neon Maniac 24.5.2015 00:59

Pianhan tuo jo selviää, vaikka "riski" mahdollisesti erilaatuisten lähdemateriaalien liittämisestä vähemmän vakuuttavaksi kombinaatioksi, ei ainakaan omaa tilaushuumaa lannistanut. Leffa tulee hyllyyn, vaikka väkisin. Vanhasta Saksalaisesta vhs-julkaisusta onnistuneen olemattomin muokkauksin otettu kansitaide (a), on mediabookiin puettuna helvetin hieno houkutin sekin. Lisäksi leffan leikkaamatonta versiota on jouduttu jonottamaan liian pitkään, joskin luojan kiitos oikealla kuvasuhteella julkaistu vod ‑jenkkidevari on tähän asti tasoittanutkin tietä tälle mukavanlaisesti.

spaguman 24.5.2015 14:08
