Äh, esim. kaikki Alain Robbe-Grillet'n elokuvat on tota parempia. Niitä DVD:lle! Robbe-Grillet ei vaan taida edellenkään antaa leffojaan julkaistavaksi kotitallenneformaateissa

Tällä hetkellä näyttäisi maksavan 16.98CAD, eli kymmenisen euroa. Nuo Soonin hinnat pomppivat ees ja taas.

Viimeksi kun kyselin asianomaisilta tahoilta miehen leffojen perään tuli tällainen vastaus, siis syyskuussa. Jotain on siis tulossa, mutta eri asia että milloin:



Lindsay's films are being restored in (very) slow time... and so far we have

had every imaginable problem from missing reels and damaged film neg to

strange foreign soundtracks. To date we have only finished "How Sleep the

Brave" in it's original wide screen format and with English soundtrack.

Although we really want to put it out we still have a few legal hurdles to

go through.

As for The Gunfighter, The Big Zapper titles, Spy Story, the Bond spoofs and

several others .. we have the original 2 minute trailers on DVD and about

150 cans of film negative recently out of storage at Technicolor.... even so

it's looking unlikely to happen in the next few months.



We have had hundred of e-mails as a result of the website, so we may do a

newsletter when we have better news!
