Syyt saattavat olla suurimmaksi osaksi tuon suuntaiset, mutta rummun lyöminen ja pieni painostus eivät ainakaan haittaa asiaa niin kauan kun tilanne voi heilahtaa suuntaan tai toiseen.

Documentary Confirms Michael Rockefeller was Eaten by Colored Cannibals in New Guinea

The public will finally get to see “The Search for Michael Rockefeller” Feb. 1 when Netflix releases the documentary on one of the most compelling unsolved mysteries of the 20th century. The film confirms what The Post reported in 1968: Cannibals devoured the son of jewish billionare New York Gov. Nelson Rockefeller. In 2007, filmmaker Fraser C. Heston (son of Charlton) discovered a lost cache of 16mm film shot by Milt Machlin, the editor of Argosy magazine who coined the phrases “Bermuda Triangle” and “the Abominable Snowman.” The footage was taken during Machlin’s expedition to New Guinea in 1969 in search of the lost scion, inspired by an eyewitness report that Michael Rockefeller was alive and being held against his will by Stone Age savages.

Onni "Jorman poika" Tommilan seuraaminen pikku Pietarin roolissa, ohjaajan ensimmäisessä kokopitkässä, oli jo jokseenkin vaivaannuttava kokemus, vaikka paljon annettiinkin anteeksi juuri iän tähden. Tuon dramaturgian perusteella voi gut feelingillä veikata pojan näyttelijän uran vieraannuttaneen (lopullisesti?) yleisön lisäksi roolituksista vastaavien muodollisen mielenkiinnon myös tulevaisuudessa. Helanderin usk.. luottamusta näyttelijäänsä on tässä(kin) tapauksessa todella työlästä tulkita todeksi, toisin kuin toisen pääosan esittäjän osalta, jonka henkilöohjaus tuskin sen suurempaa vaivaa lienee kysynyt.

81-year-old filmmaker arrested for attacking neighbor

An 81-year-old filmmaker known for horror cult classics like “Blood Sucking Freaks” was busted on New Year’s Day for attacking a woman in his building on the Upper West Side, authorities said. Joel Reed, whose weirdo flicks include 1981’s “Night of the Zombies” and the 1975 “G.I. Executioner,” violently groped the victim in an apartment at 120 West 58th St., they said.

“She [the victim] observed the defendant place his hand on her groin over her clothing, twist her hand, push her to the ground, causing redness and swelling to her right finger, shoulder, hip, and susbtantial pain,” a criminal complaint states.
It’s unclear whether the incident occurred in his crib or another residence in the luxury building.
Cops arrested the feisty octogenarian at his pad at about 3 a.m. He was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court Thursday night and released without bail, court records show.
He faces misdemeanor raps for assault, forcible touching, sex abuse and harassment, the complaint states.
