Elokuva kertoo muotimaailman kovuudesta nyky-Vietnamissa. Päähenkilö on mallityttö Thuy, joka ymmärtää, ettei kauneus kestä ikuisesti ja malliuran hinta on kova.

Long Leg Girls deals with the lives of fashion models. One, Thuy, is a country girl living in the big city. She accidentally meets Hoang, a photographer for an advertising company who has been commissioned to take pictures of models.
Thuy is committed to her career, but it does not take long for the glamour to wear off. She quickly realises that modelling is a tough world with bitter competition among the girls, some of whom are not averse to using their feminine charms to advance their careers. Then, when they make it to the top, they look back and understand that they have sacrificed love and respect on the way. Long Leg Girls tells about the things they encounter, the ways they try and find happiness, and makes some suggestions about how they can solve their problems.

Gai Nhay portrays the reality of many young girls in Vietnam nowaday. It's all about selling sex, money and survival. The film takes viewers into the dark and corrupted reality part of the Vietnamese society. Young girls were getting jacked, busted, etc. The main intrigue is the life of the Bar Girls.
