Joo Bowien levyn krediiteissä kyllä mainittiin Jonathan Richman, mutten tiennyt kuka herra oikein on.

No sitten tutustumaan ja nopeasti. Hyvä aloitus voisi olla tuo mainittu eka levy tai kokoelma "Beserkley Years", jossa on kaikki parhaat biisit. Uudenpaa tuotantoa en suosittele.



Ja kaippa sä oot nähnyt There's Something About Maryn? JR on se jamppa joka lauleskelee siinä.

Hyvä aloitus voisi olla tuo mainittu eka levy tai kokoelma "Beserkley Years", jossa on kaikki parhaat biisit.

Multa löytyy edelleen jo nappulana hommattu "Rock 'n' Roll With the Modern Lovers"-vinyyli (1977), joka ei sekään taatusti ole kaikkien makuun, mutta itse diggailin aikoinaan kovastikin naivin simppeliä ja todellista tee-se-itse-soundia. Jonathanin laulukin on äänitetty kylppärissä autenttisen kaiun aikaansaamiseksi. Mukana myös Richmanin ainoa radio-hitti, instrumentaali "Egyptian Reggae".

Kiitokset Martinille oikaisusta. Richmania en ole uskaltaunut vielä kuuntelemaan, johtuen lapsuuden traumoista. Nimi Modern Lovers, ja se levyn kansi olivat aikoinaan hirvityksiä kumpainenkin.

Ehkä olen tänään suurempi ihminen ja kuuntelen levyn vihdoinkin.
