Thriller - En Grym Film vihdoinkin ulos?

Synapse kertoo näin:

THRILLER: A CRUEL PICTURE – All the pictures for the DVD gallery have been scanned and the supplemental material is ready to roll. Heck, we even took the time to “recreate” the end fight scene using outtakes and made a possible alternate ending using trims we found. The problem is that I felt we could improve upon the main transfer even more than we already have by using a new digital restoration system called, appropriately enough, REVIVAL. Unfortunately, at the place we were doing the work, their REVIVAL system croaked in the middle of trying to fix some things. I guess REVIVAL couldn’t be REVIVED! Ah well, we’ve moved the master to another facility with a competing, similar product and we are currently doing tests. I want to have this out by the time KILL BILL VOL. TWO hits the theatres and, since Tarantino has been talking about THRILLER in just about every darn interview (like in Entertainment Weekly), he’s helped create awareness of the title that we wouldn’t have had before. Thanks Quentin! Next time I’m in LA, we’ll go out for ice cream! I’ll pay!

No helvetti! Eikai tästä kamalan montaa versiota edes ole ollut levityksessäkään? Tanskassa lienee joku lyhennetty versio, kuinka moni on nähnyt vastaavaa ruotsalaista?

Mitä tarkoittaa vastaava ruotsalainen? Jonkin ruotsalaisen version olen nähnyt, liekö sitten uncut. Ankara meininki jokatapauksessa, tämä on sitä itteensä sleazea.

Siis vähän huonostihan tuossa itseäni ilmaisin... tarkoitin siis vastaavasti Ruotsi-julkaisua. Muistatko vielä, että oliko englanninkielinen?

Olen nähnyt saman version kuin Denzo, kyseessä oli ruotsinkielinen VHS-kopio(nkopio) ilman tekstejä. Elokuvasta en kamalasti pidä enkä ainakaan aio tuota DVD:tä ostaa. Lopun ultrakylmä ilme päähenkilömuijan kasvoilla on mielenkiintoisinta mihin elokuva yltää, kaikki muu on enemmän tai vähemmän laiskaa, tyhjää ja epätoivoisesti shokeeraamista yrittävää. Lisäksi muutamien hahmojen dramaturgiaa ei voi kuin ihmetellä että eikö edes paska ohjaaja näkisi siinä mitään töksähtävää ja parannettavaa?

Heh heh. En oo varmaan ikinä seurannut minkään elokuvan julkaisua näin pitkään. Nyt näyttäis Synapse päivittäneen monelle julkaisulleen street dateja ja yllättäen tämäkin menee syksyyn. Tosin jokaiseen päivämäärään voi lisätä sellaiset vähintään 6-12 kk Synapsen tuntien...
