Traileri

Toi the Fog remake näyttää ihan asialliselta. Toivottavasti tästä tulee tasokkaampi kuin esim. Dark Water tai TCM.

Enpä oikein jaksa uskoa.

Carpenter: I'm just a producer on this. I just sit home and watch basketball games on TV. These guys go out and make this movie. It's designed to be a PG-13 film. Horror has really changed a lot. It used to be a lot much more hard core. Today it's drifting towards PG-13 and you know getting girls in and girls don't like yucky stuff, you know what I mean.

99% maailman väestöstä on pässinpäitä, kuten joku kerran asian osuvasti summasi.

Eipä tuo Fogin viikonlopputulos mikään kehuttava ole, vaikka ykkösenä olikin.

Eipä näyttänyt olevan tälle viikonlopulle montaa ensi-iltaelokuvaa, joten siinä mielessä ykkössijassa ei ole mitään ihmettelemistä, varsinkin kun isoja filmejä säästellään joulusesonkia varten.

Clouding up the top of the box office was The Fog, a remake of the John Carpenter classic from 1979. Starring Tom Welling (TV's Smallville) and Maggie Grace (TV's Lost), the PG-13 film scared up $12.2M this weekend, for a per screen average of a not-so-spectacular $4,102. Earlier this year, similar genre films opened much stronger with Boogeyman taking in $19M, The Ring 2 opening with $35.1M, and another remake, The Amityville Horror, opening to $23.5M. The Fog hit its target audience with 61% of the crowd being under 25, although Yahoo! users gave the movie a poor C+ grade.
